SPOT THESE DRYER HAZARDS

Your dryer is a SAFETY HAZARD and is NOT CODE COMPLIANT if:

• You have aluminum flex hose connected to the back of your dryer.

• There are holes anywhere in your flex hose.

• There are any seams that aren't taped.

• There's a disconnect somewhere.

• You have any plastic pipe/hose.

• There are screws present anywhere in the vent pipe.

• Your entire dryer vent (from the dryer to the building exterior) is longer then 35 feet. Keep in mind that per CODE, every 90 degree bend adds 5 feet and every 45 degree bend adds 2.5 feet.

You NEED your dryer vent CLEANED if:

• Your dryer is taking longer than 70 minutes to dry clothes.

• The dryer gets increasingly hot while in operation (fire hazard).

• Condensation starting to build up around the dryer while in operation.

• The dryer cutting off mid-cycle.

If you have aluminum flex hose that looks like this, it is a fire hazard and should be replaced immediately.
